The Group Term Life insurance benefit is available in select memberships, with coverage amounts of $50,000.
Membership with Group Term Life Benefits
Coverage Begins: 1st of the month after enrollment.
Coverage Ends: Coverage ends the date group contract or plan is canceled, date the member is no longer a member of a covered class, date covered class is no longer covered, last day of period member made required contributions, or last day of active membership.

ASSISTANCE FOR BENEFICIARIES: Prudential provides members and their families with help during the very difficult period that follows the death of a loved one. The Beneficiary Resources (www.prudential.com/workplacebeneficiary) offers access to emotional support as well as guidance on how to plan a funeral or file a death benefit claim.
Exclusions
If your death results from or is caused by suicide, while sane or insane:
- A death benefit is not payable if you die within two years of the date you became a Covered Person. But, Prudential will refund any premiums paid for your Group Term Life Insurance under this Coverage.
- The amount of any increase in your death benefit is not payable if you die within two years of the date of the increase. But, Prudential will refund any premiums paid for that increase.
